I think there's something amiss with the html/css on this install, some icons are missing, eg notifications, search, quick content, do you want to try a base 3.2.3 install and compare them

This is wierd, I can see them ok - across three different browsers both logged out and in.

But when I tried the site from a friends computer I couldn't see any

Strange. I did note a lot of the images are transparent PNG's, in particlar the tile/repeat ones - but modern browsers should render these without a problem.

Deffo something wrong. Upped stock version and icons are showing.

Noticed the mobile view for this version is also missing some icons.

Will re-upload the images directory later today.

I've not got any icons either (assuming we're talking about the Messenger, Noticifcation icons at the very top of the page?)

Taking a look at the mobile skin now.

Fixed. Had to edit the skin settings for each skin set then save - making sure the /public/style_css directory had permissions for writing.

Will revert back to the uk-mkivs red skin changes.

You may have to do ctrl + f5 on a few pages to get it fixed.

To fix for Mobile viewing, on iPhone, go to settings > Safari > Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.

Is the "use mobile version" link next to the change theme link meant to do anything?

Logged as you via my iPhone. Can switch to mobile skin but can't switch back. Will check user group settings.

I've got no icons on the mobile skin either. However, at the top right of the page there's a little box with 4 squares inside, click on that and it brings up a little menu with notifications, messenger, search and a few other bits n bobs.

Another little thing with the above - in the top left where you go back to the "Announcements" forum, the box isn't big enough.

I get that menu too using the IPB mobile theme from the change theme menu with the forum in IPB blue, is that what is meant to happen with the "use mobile" link is clicked?

It's small so it fits on all devices, are you using an iPad? The normal skin would be best suited for that, the mobile skin is for phones

I was trying the "use mobile version" on the Ipad in the screen shot but it is also the same on my HTC Desire - normal web page

The IPB mobile is OK on both

EDIT
I agree with you that the site is fine in normal view on the Ipad though

Checked the settings and rights for standard members group, not seeing any settings for the selection rights.

Might just be one of those things we have to live with.
